This Week at Discovery'
Hello everybody! Here's to a fun last few days at Discovery before our winter break. Thanks for checking in.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
Thanks to everyone who contributed food donations for our Discovery School support staff. The contributions will help make some of our local families a little more comfortable this holiday season.
Christmas Party: Tuesday afternoon will be our class Christmas party! The students will be doing some fun Christmas crafts, enjoying a tasty lunch, and watching everyone's favourite Christmas movie Elf. The students are also encouraged to wear their pyjamas to help get into the holiday spirit.
Songfest: The performance will begin at 6 pm sharp. We look forward to seeing all of you at school for a fun night of singing and dancing.
THIS WEEK'S CLASS ACTIVITIES:
Math: Monday we will be a review period, and Tuesday will be our division chapter test. There will be review material for homework Monday evening.
Reading and Writing: We will writing our final reading letter regarding the resolution to our class novel, 'James and the Giant Peach'. We will also complete our first draft of our narratives during our writing period.
There will be no spelling or theme lessons this week.
